BASEBALL

 

Mississippi Gulf Coast baseball coach Rodney Batts and his staff will help your kids become better baseball players at his three-day baseball camp at Ken "Curly" Farris Field on the Perkinston Campus. The camp for players age 6-12 will be held from 8:30 a.m. until noon on June 18-20.

The registration deadline is June 11, and the cost is $100. A $50 deposit is required. There's a 20 percent discount for siblings.

Wear athletic clothes and cleats. Campers will be divided into age groups, and they should bring their bats, gloves and batting helmets. Meals are not provided, and MGCCC will provide balls, water and a camp T-shirt.

BASKETBALL

 

Mississippi Gulf Coast head women's basketball coach Hope Adams and her staff invite you to come to participate in one of her camps or shootouts to make you and your team.

The Lady Bulldog Individual Camp will be June 19-20 from 8 a.m. until noon. It is for players entering grades 7-12. Registration deadline is June 8, and the cost is $50, which includes a camp T-shirt. Teams of five or more get a 20 percent discount. Bring basketball shoes, socks, T-shirts and braces (if needed), and wear basketball attire.

Online registration for Lady Bulldog Individual Camp

The first day of the Lady Bulldog Shootout on June 21 is for junior high and middle school teams. The cost is $175 per team, with a $75 nonrefundable deposit due June 17. Teams are limited to 12 players, 2 coaches and 1 manager, and you are guaranteed three games. Bring basketball, home and away uniforms, and/or reversible jerseys. MGCCC will provide camp T-shirts and certified officials.

The second day of the Lady Bulldog Shootout on June 22 is for varsity, junior varsity, and AAU teams. Registration costs $175, with a $75 nonrefundable deposit due June 17. Teams are limited to 12 players, 2 coaches and 1 manager, and you are guaranteed three games. Bring basketball, home and away uniforms, and/or reversible jerseys. MGCCC will provide camp T-shirts and certified officials.

Mississippi Gulf Coast head coach Jack Wright and his Bulldogs coaching staff invite you to participate in the MGCCC 7-on-7 Team Passing Championship, to be held at historic A.L. May Memorial Stadium on the Perkinston Campus on June 7. Cost for each 22-person team is $450, and there is a 10-team limit. 

Registration opens at 8:30 at the King Athletic Center at the stadium. The camp concludes at 6 p.m.

Participants should bring footballs, team gear, cleats, helmets and physical forms. They will receive a camp T-shirt, lunch and Powerade, and the winner takes home a trophy.

Mississippi Gulf Coast head coach Jack Wright and his Bulldogs coaching staff invite you to participate in the Lineman and Skills/Team camps being held on the Perkinston Campus on June 10-12.

Offensive and defensive linemen will learn the skills to become better players, and QBs, RBs, WRs, LBs and DBs will get instruction in position-specific fundamentals. Teams are guaranteed at least seven 7-on-7 games, with camp concluding in a 7-on-7 tournament.

Registration deadline is June 1. Players will arrive between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on June 10 for registration at Owen Hall. The camp concludes at 11 a.m June 12.

The camp costs $250 for overnight campers, with a team rate of $200 for 8-14 campers if your high school has 15 or more in attendance. Day campers are $150.

Mississippi Gulf Coast soccer coaches Chris Handy and Jackie Rhodes invite one of their five camps and tournaments this summer at the MGCCC Soccer Complex.

The Kids Soccer Camp will be held June 4-6 for players age 4-12 years. Registration is at 7:30 a.m. June 4, with the camp running 8-11 a.m. daily. The camp is limited to 100 participants. They should wear athletic clothes, shin guards and cleats, and they need to bring a water bottle and age-appropriate ball. Meals are not provided. Campers will receive a T-shirt. Cost is $75. The 7v7 High School Soccer Tournament will be played July 21, with boys and girls brackets available with Gold and Silver divisions available. TENNIS

 

Mississippi Gulf Coast tennis coach Gary Bourgeois invites you to come to participate in one of two camps this summer.

There are two weeks available, June 4-8 and June 11-15. Sessions will run from 9 a.m.-noon each day, and players ages 7-18 are invited to participate. In addition to top-class instruction and player development, campers will receive a T-shirt, drinks, awards and prizes. They should wear comfortable athletic clothing and tennis shoes, and they need to bring their racquets.

Registration costs $180, with a 10 percent discount if campers are registered for both weeks.
