Trio in double figures leads Lady Bulldogs

Three Mississippi Gulf Coast players scored in double digits and the Lady Bulldogs won their third straight Thursday night, winning at Bishop State 56-44.

 

Eanna Sims (So, Jackson/Forest Hill) had 13 points, Azaria Howard (Fr, Richland/Richland) scored 11 and Eden Duckworth (So, Heidelberg/Heidelberg) added 10.

 

"We're getting something different out of people each night, which means we've got some depth," Gulf Coast Hope Adams said. "We have to just keep getting better."

 

It was the second straight game for Gulf Coast against Bishop State. The Lady Bulldogs won the first contest 10 days ago 72-31.

 

The Lady Bulldogs return to action Tuesday when they travel to play LSU-Eunice. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.

 

The next home game will be after the Thanksgiving break will be Dec. 6 when Delgado visits the Weathers/Wentzell Center.
