PERKINSTON — Three Mississippi Gulf Coast players were selected to participate in the MACJC Women's All-Star Game which was scheduled to be played Saturday in Ridgeland, but the game has been cancelled because of poor field conditions.
Central defender Aniadria Bounds (So., Biloxi/Biloxi), defender Curissa Beatty (So., Biloxi/Biloxi) and forward Kaitlyn Harwell (So., Wiggins/Stone) were to have represented the Lady Bulldogs in the game.
Bounds started all 16 games this season and was the anchor of a defense which 1.69 goals per game. She started 12 of 14 games as a freshman.
Beatty also started all 16 games, scoring twice and assisting on three other goals. She scored three goals as a freshman, when she started 13 of 14 games.
Harwell started 12 of 14 games she played in this year and scored five goals with one assist. She scored four goals while playing in eight games as a freshman.
