MGCCC Athletic Hall of Honor Nominations

I. ELIGIBILITY

Select one honoree per year from the following groups:

a. Band, Cheerleaders, Perkettes, Athletic Trainers, Managers, or coach, sponsor or director of the aforementioned groups

II. CRITERIA

Must have been a member of one of the following groups: band, cheerleaders, Perkettes, athletic trainers, managers
Must have made a great and/or unusual contribution in support of athletes and support groups over and above all ordinary expectations
Consideration of character and leadership qualities
Must attend ceremony (represented by family if deceased)

III. NOMINATION PROCESS

Nominations close June 30th
Nominations remain active for three years

IV. SELECTION PROCESS

Process overseen and implemented by the Athletic Director’s Office
Ballots must be sent out by July 10th, received by July 31, and announced by September 1
In the case of a tie, both will be honored.
