Parron, Salazar, Freitas power South to victory

Three Mississippi Gulf Coast men's soccer players scored to lead the South Division to a 5-3 victory over the North in the MACJC All-Star Soccer Game Saturday in Ridgeland.

Bulldogs sophomores Jordan Parron, Gio Freitas and Juan Salazar each had goals. Defender Josh Palm also participated in the game.

The four players helped guide Gulf Coast to a 14-5 record this season and a second-place finish in the South. The team advanced to the MACJC semifinals before losing.
