Lady Bulldogs back in action

PERKINSTON — After a soggy week, Mississippi Gulf Coast will try to play a doubleheader Sunday against No. 3 LSU Eunice at Ross-Smith Field.

Last Time Out

• MGCCC got its first sweep of the season by beating Marion Military 6-4 and 7-5 on Tuesday. The Lady Bulldogs hit five home runs, including two by Shelby Archer (Fr., Pearl River Central/Picayune).

• The Lady Bengals split against Wallace State at the Sun Chief Classic in Gulf Shores, Ala. They won 10-2 in the five-inning opener, then fell 0-1 in the second. It broke a 13-game win streak.
