Spring season of eSports kicks off

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's eSports team opens its seven-week regular season with student-athletes competing in five varsity games. 

The games are streamed for free on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/mgccc_esports and YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@mgccc_esports.

Camran Putnam (CamKing100) plays Super Smash Bros. for the Bulldogs, and those matches are played Tuesdays at 5 and 6 p.m. They are best-of-five series.

Joshua Jeter (Jj3ter) plays Madden on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. They are best-of-three series. 

Kaden Sanderson (Kaden) plays Mario Kart on Thursdays at 5 and 6 p.m. Those are best-of-7 series.

Alayia Sampson (xDATxLALA23) and Zack Black (SuzakuBlaze) play 2v2 Fortnight on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. Those are best-of-three series.

William Madison (Wildbillhickhock2004) and Cameron Conley (Pye) play 2vs Call of Duty on Fridays at 5:30 p.m. Those are best-of-three series.

Gulf Coast also has Academy and Club teams competing this spring.
