Donovan Sanders and Carr Thiam combined for 37 points and Mississippi Gulf Coast won its last game before Thanksgiving on the road Tuesday night, beating Baton Rouge 82-63.
Sanders (Fr., Lake Cormorant/Walls) had 19 points, and Thiam (So., Wharton/Tampa, Fla.) scored 18 for the Bulldogs, who improved to 6-1.
Melvion Flanagan (So., Peabody/Alexandria, La.) had 13 points, and Anthony Ratliff (So., Terry/Jackson) chipped in with 12.
Baton Rouge, which beat Southwest Mississippi last Tuesday, falls to 1-8.
Gulf Coast returns to action Monday when LSU Eunice visits Perkinston. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
