UPDATE: Gulf Coast will start vs. ICC at 1 pm

This press release has been updated to reflect a later start time for Friday's games and a new schedule for the tournament.

ELLISVILLE — A tornado watch, and more forecasted bad weather, has forced the rest of the NJCAA Region 23 Softball Tournament games for Thursday to be postponed, including Mississippi Gulf Coast's.

Only one game was completed Thursday, and the Bulldogs will start play Friday at 1 p.m. Gulf Coast will play Itawamba to start three games slated. The original plans were to pay five games, but torrential rains Thursday afternoon and evening make the field unavailable until later in the day.
