Bulldogs open basketball season Nov. 1
PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast men's basketball team will open the 2021-22 season on the road Nov. 1.
The Bulldogs, in their second season under head coach Tim Ryan, travel to Mobile to play Bishop State. Their first home game will be Nov. 5 when Royal Ambassadors visit the Weathers-Wentzell Center.
Gulf Coast opens MACCC play against Holmes on Dec. 2. Tipoff for all conference games will be at 6 p.m. This year, the league has done away with divisions and each school will play the other 14 teams once. It's another year of mirrored schedules, where the men and women will play the same opponent, one at home and one on the road.
