Palisi wins MACCC Player of the Week
PERKINSTON — Alyssa Palisi scored and kept scoring last week for Mississippi Gulf Coast, and it earned her MACCC Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors.
The freshman midfielder from Diamondhead had four goals and an assist in a 9-0 win at Copiah-Lincoln.
Her nine goals this season are the most in the MACCC and tied for third-most in NJCAA Division II.
Palisi is now eligible for NJCAA's weekly award. It will be announced Wednesday.
