Sophomore Day set for No. 12 Bulldogs

PERKINSTON — No. 12 Mississippi Gulf Coast will salute a six-player class when the women's tennis team celebrates Sophomore Day on Tuesday. 

The Bulldogs play East Central at 2 p.m. at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.

The class includes Karla Bethea (So., Edwards/Homeschool), Valeria Callejo-Vivar (So., Madrid, Spain/I.E.S. Ortega y Gasset), Mikenzy Dubrow (So., Biloxi/Biloxi), Lauren Sullivan (So., Laurel/Laurel Christian), Dallas Tanner (So., Hattiesburg/Oak Grove) and Danique Vermue (So., 's-Heerenhoek, Netherlands/Scheldemon College).

• MGCCC: 8-1/7-1 MACCC, 2^nd place in conference
• East Central: 5-7/2-6 MACCC, 8^th place in conference

Last Time Out

• Gulf Coast beat Southwest Mississippi 9-0 at Perk on March 21.
• East Central lost 7-2 to Itawamba on Friday at Decatur.
