PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will try to put together two complete games Saturday when Illinois Central visits Ken "Curly" Farris Field.
The doubleheader, which is scheduled to start at 1 p.m., will be streamed at https://livestream.com/MGCCCBulldogs/events/9016493.
The Bulldogs have struggled to put pitching, offense and defense together for both ends of a twinbill. The recent battles with Mother Nature that have forced long layoffs from game action haven't helped.
The Bulldogs are starting a stretch of five of six dates at home that goes into the first two MACJC opponents.

Last Time Out
- MGCCC committed seven errors in a pair of losses at Baton Rouge on Wednesday. The Bulldogs fell 7-5 and 8-4.
- Illinois Central lost 5-0 to John A. Logan at Carterville, Illinois, on Feb. 23. They're scheduled to play a doubleheader at Jones on Friday.
Previous Meeting
Gulf Coast swept a doubleheader from Illinois Central 9-1 and 14-2 on March 2, 2019. Dawson Hall (So., East Central, Hurley) threw a four-hitter in the opener.
