Gulf Coast entertains Nunez on Monday

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will try to break a four-game losing stream Monday when Nunez visits Ken "Curly" Farris Field.

The games will be streamed at https://livestream.com/mgcccbulldogs/events/9031914. First pitch in the doubleheader is set for 3 p.m.

The games were moved up a day to beat anticipated wet weather.

  • MGCCC: 4-8
  • Nunez: 11-11

Last Time Out

  • MGCCC lost twice to No. 2 Northwest Florida State on Friday, falling 13-3 and 11-5.
  • Nunez split at Holmes on Saturday, winning 4-3 and losing 5-4.

Previous Meeting

The teams split a doubleheader in Chalmette on Feb. 12, with the Bulldogs fall 13-9 in the opener and winning 5-0 in the second with a combined no-hitter by Antoine Harris (Fr., Chalmette, Chalmette, La.), Matthew DeLano (Fr., Biloxi, Biloxi) and Evan Keith (So., Vancleave, Vancleave).
