Blue ties up World Series
PERKINSTON — Grant Atwood's three innings of no-hit ball and Chase Lott's four RBI helped lead the Blue team to a 13-2 win in the Blue-Gold World Series. It tied up the three-game series to end Mississippi Gulf Coast's fall baseball practices.
The deciding Game 3 will be Friday.
Lott went 2-for-3 with a double, and Dylan Menhennet chipped in two hits. Trae Warren and Jacob Bullock drove in three runs apiece for the Blue.
Champ Davison had a hit for the Gold, which won the first game 10-5 on Monday.
