Meet the Team night scheduled for Aug. 25
PERKINSTON — No. 4 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will hold a Meet the Team night on Aug. 25 at newly renovated A.L. May Memorial Stadium.
The Bulldogs football team will be introduced, along with the cheer squad, Perkettes and Band of Gold. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a football scrimmage starting at 7 that will focus on game situations.
Football coach Chad Huff's team opens the season on the road Sept. 1 at Itawamba before returning to Perkinston for back-to-back home games. The Bulldogs play No. 1 East Mississippi on Sept. 8 and No. 7 Copiah-Lincoln on Sept. 15.
