Rowland wins MACJC Player of the Week again
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Joshua Rowland has been named MACJC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second consecutive time.
Rowland, a sophomore kicker from Madison Central, was perfect on three field-goal and three extra-point attempts in a 30-17 Homecoming win over Pearl River. He field goals were from 19, 26 and 35 yards.
Rowland also won NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week honors last week and was named second-team NJCAA All-American last year.
