Bulldogs rip Northeast
PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis team plowed through Northeast 8-1 Thursday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs' three doubles teams dropped only a pair of games in their matches to improve to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in MACJC matches.
Travis Bell (Fr, Jackson/Calloway) and John Murphy (Fr, Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen) lost only two games in their No. 1 doubles and separate singles matches.
James Estrada (Fr, Saucier/St. Stanislaus) won his No. 4 singles match 6-0, 6-0.
Gulf Coast returns to action Friday when East Central comes to Perkinston. Matches start at 1 p.m.
