No. 18 MGCCC downs No. 17 Co-Lin

PERKINSTON — No. 18 Mississippi Gulf Coast defended home court against No. 17 Copiah-Lincoln, winning eight of nine men's matches at the MGCCC Sports Complex.

 

The Bulldogs are 6-3 overall and have won five of six MACJC matches.

 

Gulf Coast swept all six singles matches, with No. 5 Reid Cudd (Fr, Wiggins/Stone) and No. 6 Brett Bowen (So, Oxford/Oxford) dropping just one game between them in straight set wins.

 

Gulf Coast returns to action Monday, traveling to Holmes. Matches at Goodman start at 1 p.m. It's the start of a long stretch of road games, with the next matches at Perk on March 27 against Wallace State-Hanceville.
