Brown named MACCC Keeper of the Week
PERKINSTON — In a key non-conference matchup of nationally-ranked teams, Mississippi Gulf Coast's Omarion Brown didn't allow anything past him.
That earned the freshman from Linstead, Jamaica, the first MACCC Keeper of the Week award of the season. The Bulldogs were ranked 12th at the time of the game against then-No. 8 Pearl River, and Gulf Coast cmae out 2-0 winners.
Brown stopped all seven shots he faced as the Bulldogs have held their first three opponents scoreless.
