MGCCC retains No. 2 ranking in golf poll
Mississippi Gulf Coast retained its No. 2 ranking in the latest Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division II Coaches Poll released Friday.
The Bulldogs received one first-place vote and are one spot ahead of South Mountain and one ahead of another MACJC school, Meridian. It's the final coaches poll of the fall.
Gulf Coast has won two of six events it's entered, finishing second in the others.
The Bulldogs, who finished third in the country at last year's NJCAA national tournament, begin the spring schedule at the Elizabeth Kling Memorial in Mobile on Feb. 13-14.
