No. 13 Bulldogs beat No. 19 Co-Lin

No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast claimed an ITA top-20 men's tennis showdown Wednesday in Wesson, rallying for a 5-4 win over No. 19 Copiah-Lincoln.

Gulf Coast (7-1, 5-0 MACJC) lost two of three doubles matches, but won four singles matches for the victory. Travis Bell (So, Jackson/Calloway) won at No. 2 singles, John Murphy (So, Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen) won No. 3, Reid Cudd (So, Wiggins/Stone) won No. 5 and Austin Moore (So, Petal/Petal) won No. 6.

Murphy teamed with Noah Rowell (So, Wiggins/Stone) to win No. 2 doubles.

Gulf Coast returns to action Thursday when Holmes visits Perkinston. First serve at the MGCCC Tennis Complex is at 2:30 p.m.
