PERKINSTON – Mississippi Gulf Coast got a shot at the buzzer to beat Meridian 60-58 in the first meeting this season.
That was before the holidays, and the Lady Bulldogs will be looking to get their second MACJC victories Monday when the Lady Eagles visit the Weathers/Wentzell Center.
Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.
Gulf Coast (9-8, 1-7) got contributions up and down the roster in December. Ten different players scored, and Markeisha Watson's nine points were enough to lead the effort.
Andriel Moss had 24 points against the Lady Bulldogs.
Meridian (2-15, 1-7) has only a 78-70 victory over Hinds in the MACJC. The Lady Eagles have lost four straight since.
Gulf Coast continues a two-game homestand Thursday when East Central visits Perkinston. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.
