MGCCC Fall Showcase/Fall League just around the corner
PERKINSTON---Now's your chance to get invloved with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College baseball program as the Bulldogs crank up their Fall Showcase and Fall League beginning later this month.
On Sunday, Sept. 29, the team's Fall Showcase will be held at 4 pm and will include: timed 60 meter runs, batting practice, infield/outfield work, and catchers pop times.
"This will allow us to not only evaluate talent, but to also divide all participants into teams," said Gulf Coast baseball coach Gary Rath.
From there, Gulf Coast will hold it's annual fall league season which runs every Monday, Wednesday, & Sunday beginning Sept. 30 and is open to 8th – 12th graders. Cost is $200 for pre-registration and $225 the day of the Showcase/Fall League opening.
