2025 Football game themes announced
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast has another full slate of special events and nights at all of its home regular-season football games in 2024.
The Bulldogs will be playing five home games, beginning with the first game of the season Aug. 28. The Bulldogs will be playing East Mississippi with the Annual Bulldog Tailgate before the game.
The second home game is against Mississippi Delta the next week, and it will be Jersey Night. Fans should wear their favorite jerseys.
Homecoming is Sept. 20, when Southwest Mississippi visits A.L. May Memorial Stadium. It will be the earliest Homecoming in school history, and kickoff will be at 7 p.m. The full schedule can be found at https://mgccc.edu/alumni/homecoming/.
Oct. 9 will be Military + First Responders Night, when the Bulldogs play East Central. It will also be the White Out game, with fans encouraged to wear white. All active duty, veteran or retired members of the military and first responders will be admitted to the game for free and be honored on the field.
The final home game takes place Oct. 16 when Copiah-Lincoln visits. Fans should wear pink for Cancer Support. Healthcare workers will be admitted free and honored.
In addition, Gulf Coast will be hosting its usual University Nights, where four-year schools will be on hand to meet with Gulf Coast students and take part in the festivities. The schedule will be:
- Aug. 28: William Carey University Night
- Sept. 4: Mississippi State University Night
- Oct. 9: University of Mississippi Night
- Oct. 16: University of Southern Mississippi Night
