Conley, Arterberry named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Laurel Conley and Kaleb Arterberry have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Nov. 3-9.
Conley, a sophomore keeper from Ocean Springs, had seven saves for No. 5 Gulf Coast in a 2-1 loss to No. 3 Northwest Mississippi.
Arterberry, a freshman linebacker from Pearl, was all over the field for No. 7 Gulf Coast in a 45-24 win at No. 9 East Mississippi. He had 12 tackles, including a sack. He also broke up a pass.

Tyler Henderson, a sophomore wide receiver from Vicksburg, had nine catches for 141 yards in No. 7 Gulf Coast's 45-24 win at No. 9 East Mississippi. He had two more touchdown catches and leads the NJCAA in yards (1,151) and TDs (12).
La'Zeric Johnson, a freshman defensive back from Eight Mile, Ala., had a momentum-swinging play for No. 7 Gulf Coast in its 45-24 win at No. 9 East Mississippi. He blocked a field goal that would have cut the Bulldogs' lead to one point, which was returned to the EMCC 1. One play later, it was an 11-point lead. Johnson also had five tackles and a key fumble recovery, along with two pass breakups.
Duran Parish, a sophomore guard from Biloxi, had 35 points in a 159-89 win over Baton Rouge Post-Grad. He made 14-of-18 field goals, including 6-of-8 from behind the 3-point arc.
