Conley, Parish named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Laurel Conley and Duran Parish have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Nov. 18-24.
Conley, a sophomore keeper from Ocean Springs, had a shutout in Gulf Coast's first-ever NJCAA tournament game, a 2-0 win over Rock Valley. She had four saves in Wichita, allowing just one goal.
Parish, a sophomore guard from Biloxi, averaged 25.0 points, 6.3 assists and 2.7 steals in three Gulf Coast wins. His big game was a 35-point outburst in an 85-82 win over Bishop State. In a 109-102 win at Coastal Alabama-South, he had 18 points, five rebounds, six assists and five steals.

Riley Bishop, a freshman guard from Gulfport, had 17 points in a 60-35 win at Coastal Alabama-South.
Laylah Johnson, a sophomore forward from Gulfport, had a goal just before halftime at the NJCAA Championship, which led to a 2-0 win over Rock Valley, the program's first win at the national event.
