Bond named Bulldog of the Week

PERKINSTON — Matthew Bond has been named Bulldogs of the Week for Nov. 10-16.

Bond, a freshman from Ocean Springs, won medalist at the Jones College Invitational and helped lead the Bulldogs to the team title. Bond erased a three-shot deficit in the final round and won on the second hole of a playoff.

Also nominated:

Duran Parish, a sophomore guard from Biloxi, averaged 18.0 points, 3.5 assists and 4.5 steals in a pair of Gulf Coast non-conference wins over MACCC foes. He had 19 points, five steals and three assists in an 84-59 win over Meridian, then put up 17 points with four rebounds and four steals in an 87-76 win at Pearl River.
