Parish, Bryan named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Duran Parish and Keela Bryan have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Dec. 1-7.
Parish, a sophomore point guard from Biloxi, flirted with averaging a triple-double during a 3-0 week for Mississippi Gulf Coast. He averaged 24.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists, including a 28-point, 11-rebound, nine-assist game in a 101-64 win over the University of Mobile JV. He also had 26 points in a 101-68 win over East Central and 18 in a 79-76 win against Delgado. Parish leads all MACCC in scoring at 24.2 ppg.
Bryan, a sophomore from Brunswick, Ga., had 11 points in a loss at Delgado.
