Lady Bulldogs will face undefeated Hinds

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast opens its MACJC slate Monday with a tough task, facing undefeated Hinds at the Weathers/Wentzell Center. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs are 4-2 coming off a 51-44 victory over Baton Rouge on Thursday. They got a balanced offensive attack in their last contest while missing their leading scorer and rebounder, Keiara Williams (6-1, Fr, New Orleans/Warren Easton).

Shaniqua Tobias (5-6, So, New Orleans/Warren Easton) is the team's second-leading scorer at 10.8 points per game.

Gulf Coast will be playing its only South Division game before the Christmas break. The Lady Bulldogs will play at Delgado on Wednesday, then host that same team exactly a month later to start the spring semester.
