MGCCC announces summer basketball camps
PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College women's basketball program will host a camp and two days of shootouts this summer at the Perkinston Campus' Weathers/Wentzell Center.

The Lady Bulldogs Individual Camp will take place June 22 from 9 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. It is for girls entering 7th-12th grades, and lunch will be provided. The deadline to register is June 10, with space-available registration available the day of the camp. Cost is $50, and in includes a T-shirt. Teams with five or more players pay $40 apiece. Bring basketball shoes, socks, T-shirts and braces (if needed), and wear basketball attire.
The Lady Bulldog Shootout starts with junior high and middle school teams on June 23, with varsity, junior varsity and AAU teams on June 24. Cost is $175 ($125 if you have two or more teams), with a limit of 12 players, two coaches and a manager. Players should bring basketballs, home and away jerseys and/or reversible jerseys. Teams are guaranteed three games, and MGCCC will provide certified officials and camp T-shirts.
