No. 25 Mississippi Gulf Coast completed its two-game set against Coastal Alabama-South on Saturday with another loss, falling 13-3 in seven innings at Bay Minette, Ala.
The Bulldogs fell behind 6-0 after the first inning and could not recover.
Brandon Coakley (So., Covington, La./Covington) and Asher Henley (So., Vancleave/Vancleave) each had a double and an RBI for Gulf Coast (8-2). Garrett Gardner (Fr., Madison/Madison-Ridgeland Academy) also doubled.
Gulf Coast returns to action Monday when Reid State visits Perkinston. First pitch at Ken "Curly" Farris Field is set for 3 p.m.
