Men’s Tennis hits first serve Feb. 2

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast tennis coach Sam Blackburn's men's team will open its 2026 season Feb. 2 on the road.

The Bulldogs will play an exhibition against Alcorn State in Vickburg, one of four straight away from Perk to start the season. They'll play their first four on the road before Coastal Alabama-South visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex on Feb. 23.

That will be the first of five straight matches at Perk, including Copiah-Lincoln on Feb. 24 in the first conference home match. The Bulldogs open MACCC play Feb. 20 against Southwest Mississippi in Summit.
