ELLISVILLE – Bad weather expected in the area will postpone the resumption of the MACJC Tournament until Tuesday.
East Central was leading Itawamba 5-4 in the bottom of the third of an elimination game. That game will resume at Jones County at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
No. 3 Mississippi Gulf Coast will play the 5 p.m. game, facing host Jones in the winners' bracket game. The winner advances to the championship round on Wednesday, with the loser turning right around and playing the ECCC-ICC winner at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
