Parish earns 2nd All-Region 23 honor
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Duran Parish has been named to the All-NJCAA Region 23 Team for the second time after voting conducted by the coaches.
Parish, a sophomore point guard from Biloxi who also earned the award in 2023-24, finished second in the MACCC in scoring at 20.8 points per game, which was 14th-highest in the country. He led the conference with 62 steals and was third in assists with 158, which was 19th in the NJCAA.
Parish also finished sixth in made free throws (145) and ninth in 3-point shooting (38.6 percent).
He is now eligible for NJCAA All-American consideration.
